Hi Guys a new active area is rolling around the north east limb it has signaled its arrival with some spectacular loops.

Movie from 10:53 to 12:53 in grade 1 to 2 seeing but fighting mechanical problems with mount but did not drop a frame.

Fantastic Andy! I kept trying my new setup but the clouds just would not cooperate. I got one White Light image through some fairly thick clouds and then I got frustrated and tore down my set up. You guessed it, cleared up for 30 minutes right after I put the last piece away!

i love it, i was also following it but seeing was terrible, but atleast observing at the eyepiece was amazing, you could detect the changes in minutes
it was very active for all the morning, that was a huge magnetic field
