Anybody a member of this club in Hampton, VA? I just moved to the Yorktown, VA area and trying to find some darksites & make some contacts. Clear Skies!!!!

Hi Chris,

There is a group called Virginia Peninsula Astronomy/Stargazers in the area that does observing at the York River State Park.

Here's a link to their yahoo users group VPAS link. Looks like the NASA Skywatchers Club has activity on the group too.

I've gone to York River in the past and think it's a decent site and the folks sponsoring it are really nice.

Where does everybody meet at York River? Still fairly new to the area. Live 5 minutes from the river...
