I am looking for a cheap but sturdy mount for my scope: Orion ED80T CF that will allow me to just throw it on and go without all the hassles of taking apart the Atlas. Just wanted to get a few suggestions.

If you like EQ mounts, I would suggest the EQ3. I use one for my TV85 and it is great with that size of scope. The optional RA drive will let it track as well.

I have a CG4 and I love it for my 120 but I think that the AT Voyager that I have is a better option for grab n go. I am going to get an ED80 soon and the Voyager will be my mount of choice for it most of the time.
You already have a nice Equatorial so I think than an easy to use Alt-Az will give you more options.

Greetings,
I just added a Explore Scientific Twilight I Alt-Az Mount with Tripod and was surprised that it handles my 100mm APO pretty nicely. Slight vibration while focus or skew but a very quick recovery @ roughly 2 seconds. Your scope is lighter and shorter and would no doubt do great. I got a little time out of the backyard a couple of nights ago and was quite pleased first light on this mount.

Used manual CG-5, $100. Best value for the money.

They are around but for $100, it will be the older CG-5 with the aluminum legs etc. If you are looking for a mount that is easier to setup and observe with than your Atlas, a smaller GEM is only going to get you part way there.
For an 80mm refractor, an alt-az mount like the Portamount, Voyagers is about as easy and as portable as it gets.
