Forgive if this has been done before but a fellow astronomer put me on to this and I have found it pretty good. It might not be the bong for thorough analysis but i found it pretty useful this evening to test collimation on a frac after a conventional cheshire gave very misleading results...

Its a budget artificial star. Its a little plasticky but for $24 delivered you cant complain much. Shipped fast too all the way from China in a few days.
Worked a treat for me checking the alignment of a diagonal and also checking of a focuser needed a bit of shimming.
