Peter,
That had to set you back a pretty penny. And, well worth it I might add... What a beautiful centerpiece specimen!

UMMM those are cool,but..............
When they cost more than a car, house, whole city.....etc.
No thank you.
$30-75 rocks are almost to much....if you knew what my fossil collection cost me (was single then)
Tucson was bad enough every Feb. when I lived in Phx for a few years..
Miss that

It was nowhere near as expensive as one might think. I have seen 20 gram pallasites sell for more than this slice of Brenham.

I was joking about the cost...although I have noticed they aren't as cheap as some.
I "may" get me a small slice some day soon....since you "bullied" me?!?.....

Look out, this man has discovered pallasites!
Life is never the same after you encounter a beautiful pallasite. They are truly "celestial stained glass".

Update.......: I broke down (sorta) & got an NWAxxx unclassified Pallisite 21.1g individual coming.
Good enough 4 me at this time, besides I am starting to think "mystery stones" seem a tad more interesting to me.
Adds some "intrigue" quality!

Unclassified Pallasites on the market can sometimes be degraded and extremely oxidized. Most quality unclassified pallasites seem to be submitted for classification soon after discovery (no doubt for their potential monetary value), but not always. This is not to say I wouldn't own an unclassified pallasite, or an unclassified anything for that matter.
