Comet C/2012 K5 w/ Image Intensifier new
      #5585323 - 12/23/12 10:16 AM

With the moon waxing I just had to try for a view of this comet before years end. The atmospheric transparency was pretty poor, thin layer of cirrus clouds, but gave it a try anyway. Here's a short video of Comet C/2012 K5. Take note of how the cirrus clouds affect the image intensifier.

Nice one, couple of UFOs in there too! Have to try for this one, looks like a nice obvious comet.

Cheers

Peter

I'm glad you guys enjoyed it!

The comet is quite bright at the moment and is expected to brighten a bit more, really easy to find as well. If either of you can capture a video of it with an image intensifier, I'd love to see them.

Take Care

Very nice video! In October a few of us viewed Comet Hergenrother with my IIE and a 20-in dob. The image of the comet was enhaced by the IIE and an Orion Photographic light pollution filter.

Hi, Sent you private message regarding PVS-7B/D adapter. Do you have a part number? Pictures? Thanks.

Try Aurora Tactical, they used to sell the c-mount adapter for the PVS-7B/D. No part number/numbers.
