Thanks, Peter. There's a few nice speimens up for auction. The ones I like will most likely be expensive. I bid on two meteorites.

Sorry, Martin. You have a beautiful piece of the best meteor-wrong on the planet thus far. As a matter of fact, it was your specimen photo that spurred me forward in securing one. O.K., you can come back and play again.

Don't know what's going on; but can we get back to Pallasites? They are a prime interest for a lot of us here. I, for one; love seeing the different types members have!

Frankly I don't know what's going on either, but here is my very first Pallasite. A 22.6 gram Seymchan.

Nice rock, I love Seymchan. I remember when it "magically" transformed from an iron to a pallasite.

It is not as nice in person. I have been wearing it every day for over 2 decades. It is beat (so am I).

After a few disasters with specimens falling to pieces i am wary now with pallasites given that i live in the wet and windy UK :-(

I have found Seymnchan to be very stable however and also funnily enough Pallasovka which is known as a bit of a ruster. I of course dream of a monster slice of Esquel or Fukang :-)
