Saturn at 10 degrees F new
      #5616592 - 01/11/13 01:37 AM Attachment (70 downloads)

Here is Saturn taken through some thin clouds at 29 degrees of altitude and 10 degrees Fahrenheit. I hope we’ll have better conditions later in the year, although Saturn will be a tough target at 45 degrees lat N (about 33 degrees max altitude this year).

Looking good. Personally, I prefer my Fahrenheits higher than my Latitudes, but to each his own. ;-)

That is an excellent image especially given the temperature and elevation.

Thank you. I'll try again when Saturn will be at the meridian at about 5 AM, the atmosphere is steadier at that hour. At 6 AM it starts to move because of the coming Sun.

Very nicely done with the target at that altitude, bravo I also applaud your determination and apparent immunity to cold, brrrrr

Clear Skies,
Brian
