Hi,
It's been very cloudy up here...
I managed to finalize this imaging project by using color data from an older wide field image. Large images and technical details in my blog: http://www.astroanarchy.blogspot.fi/2013/01/ngc-1491-project-finalized.html

Great close up JP! It always makes me feel good to see that the colors that I take in an image match up to an image taken by someone of your caliber! I shot this same object with an ED80T a year ago.

Thanks guys!
The seeing was very bad at the time of imaging, FWHM was something like 5-6, doe to that, the image is kind of soft looking.
An other problem was very low resolution color data, borrowed from my older wide field image. Color details in central portion of the image are somehow washed out.
Bill Snyder's image here shows much better details and colors: http://www.cloudynights.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/5619813/page...

That's really nice. A few months back I spend quite awhile working on this object as it was one of the contest pictures. I think you'd have won
