Celestron to meade wedge adaptor needed

I have looked around and cant seem to locate any kind of diy mod or prefabed adaptor to allow a celestron base (older 90's era) to mount to a meade eqt. lx200 style wedge. I know the bolt patterns are different between meade and celestron bases but Im sure this adaptation has been done many times.
I have a celestar 8 that I want to adapt to mount on my meade super HD wedge that my LX200 12 is used for.

I had a similar need. I wanted to mount my Nexstar SE8 onto a Meade wedge from the early '80s. The Meade tripod and wedge are built like a tank! Very solid.
A quick trip to my local engineering shop resulted in a solid billet of aluminum cut and drilled to perfection. And cheap!
My recommendation after thorough googling. Find a local engineering shop and take the OTA and mount along.

You can do what I did,
Make a template of the bolt holes from the bottom of your scope, mark it on the wedge face plate and drill new holes.
It works fine. Watch the back side depending which wedge you have, there may be ribs in the way.

My Astro society replaced an LX200 with a CPC-1100 and needed to fit it to the existing Superwedge. It needs a spacer to allow the wider base to overlap the wedge sides. I got a couple of extra holes drilled in the base and one of the other astro society members made some spacers with threaded rods on each end. This works beautifully.

The wedge. This wedge has a flat plate so it was easy to mark it out and get my next door neighbour to drill it out. (He makes model steam engines).
