RV6 and Orion

Got my trusty 1960 RV6 out with skies at about 7 Pickering. 32 Orionis was difficult but doable at 250X, more like an elongation than a split, but it was obvious where the dimmer star was.
52 Orionis, a perfect split with a thin black line between the two at 250X.
Eta was beautiful and easy, same for Alnitak

E and F of the Trapezium were tough with in and out visibility. Because of that I didn't wait for Sirius and the pup to clear the trees as I don't think the seeing would have allowed a view. Was a good night tho in Orion.
