My suggestion would be to watch Ebay for an ETX90 sold "For Parts". If you have a smart phone, get the Ebay app, set a saved search, and check it once a week or so, and read descriptions carefully. I have seen several ETX's with broke flip-mirror, focusers, and stripped gears. "For Parts" scopes usually sell for <$50. Watch the shipping cost, though. most charge $15-$20, but some people try to sneak in $50-$100 shipping fees. My ETX80 ended up $62 shipped. the base was dead, but all I wanted was the OTA, and it seems good.
