All the more reason then to rectify this mans complaint. Though in their defense the purchases I made over the phone was well handled and professional. I never have gotten the rude New York camera store treatment and brother they are cavemen up there. Astronomics has a great track record actually. I'm confident this will be worked out but I feel for the guys frustration.

Which refractor did you buy? I agree with t.r., give them a call. I almost always get an email from them confirming the purchase and then another email with tracking details. I'm sure things will be fine.

Shouldn't make a difference. That being said, this is not the norm for Astronomics that I've experienced. I'm still waiting on some ES82's ordered in May, but Astronomics has always replied when I've asked a status (truth is nobody's seeing ES eyepiece shipments yet). Maybe shoot them another e-mail or try calling.

What is the name the order is under and what product did you order? Usually an e-mail is sent with a shipping quote.

Dave, They will ship to Canada, but only Items that have no Canadian Dealers. I did purchase a SW 8" SCT/EQ5P a few years back for the close out price of $999, but It wasn't supposed to be available as we have SW Dealers in Canada.
I didn't mind though as, even after paying the shipping and Taxes, I saved $500.

Glad it all worked out so quickly and that our sponsor did things right from the start. I still remember reading their printed magazine-ads many years ago stating: "... our 5th year in business". Amazing how time flies. Where did the printed astronomy magazines go?
