Skywatcher Pro100ED reducer
      #5627782 - 01/17/13 10:41 AM

Has anyone tried a .8 (Orion/Televue,etc.) reducer, or similar, for the 100ED and had success? It looks like the recommend reducer is the .85 but just wondering if anyone has used a different one with success?
This scope is 100/900.
Thanks,

Yup I have used the William Optics 0.8X Reducer/Flattener II on my Orion 100ED.

Seems to work just fine. I have not actually checked for field curvature at the native focal length, because I always used the reducer to get the extra photographic speed.

Thanks! I may have to try one of these.
