Vendor returns..... new

So when you return a defective item to a vendor, just how long should one wait for an acknowledgement of somekind?

Did you call first and get an RMA or other number?

Many firms will refuse un-authorized returns.

It is best to pay for tracking,even require signatures when sending expensive items to anyone,so you know when and who got it.

Busy vendors may not call you to acknowledge a return or even email .Those who really care about customer service might.

If it has been more than a few days since the item should have arrived then I would call the vendor and ask about the status.

Yes RMA, with tracking and signed for last Friday. I noticed the Item shows out of stock, even though the rep said a container had arrived, and all would be well. I don't think any were on that container.......
