That's the short short version. PM if you'd like the long version. It's been an experience in part to the mind numbing number of jobs I've applied to since then (over 60). I'm sure I'll be back to work sooner rather than later. Yeah its been a drag, but I just got to keep my head up. Luckily I have many things to take my mind off of the daunting job hunting task. A majority of the jobs I've applied for are out of state.I would like to get into the aerospace or related industry. I've applied to a total of 66 jobs as of today. Which encompasses 15 states, and 3 other countries. Looking for a job is a full time job in it self. I would prefer to stay east of the Mississippi if I can. I would love to move to Florida. I have a lot of family down there, but I'll go wherever work can be found/. I've had two interviews for different jobs at Chesapeake Energy. No luck with either. I'm hopeful one of these Aerospace companies takes a chance a mining engineer like myself. I'm still optimistic. Glad you are having a positive outlook. I have been pretty darn busy with the band I am in. We have our first gig Saturday night if you guys want to watch. The venue is full, but you can watch it via live streaming. You will also be able to post comments that will be displayed on monitors at the venue which will be weird.
