Basler, IDS and AVT-Prosilica ASCOM drivers
      #5629887 - 01/18/13 12:43 PM

Hi guys,

we just released ASCOM drivers for Basler, IDS uEye and AVT-Prosilica cameras.
We decided that finally those drivers won't be bound to Genika Astro license, so anybody can download them from Genika home page : http://genicapture.com/ (page bottom).

That's our Xmas gift... a bit late

The drivers have been thoroughtly tested with MaximDL for autoguiding. They are multithreaded so that MaximDL won't lock up during exposure.
They supports Bin1 & 2, AoI and gain setting (through the camera setting page, connected mode). They are 8 bits only which is far enough for autoguiding.
For high speed planetary acquisition in 12 bits mode up to 300 MB/s, see Genika Astro

AVT requires AVT UNI 2.1
Basler Pylon 3.2.2 (.NET)
IDS uEye 4.2 (.NET)

Enjoy !

Frédéric.
