Hi Team,
Here is a pict of my new 10" Dobstuff Dob. IMHO it is just beautiful! Sorry to gush...
It is done with the "warm" stain. The pict does not have the focuser, viewfinder, or light shield across from the focuser installed. My DW has offered to make me a light shroud of Black spandex...

Thanks...it is an F4.7...I too think the wood color ("warm" stain) with the black poles is "just perfect"
Dennis original built it in October. I purchased it and had it add the "Easy Transport Telescope" Option, Sky Commander DSc, and eyepiece rack. Should have it in a week or so.
Since Dennis has had it for a few months, he has tried it and says the views with the destiny mirror are excellent. I plan to take the mirror with me to the Delmarva mirror making class in march and have the experts there take a look/test at it. If it needs any touching up I plan to do it that weekend.

dont forget to bring the scope, cause maybe you'll get lucky and have a good night to star test the mirror if you do touch it up. plus we all want to see it.

Nice scope!
Note that Spandex typically isn't very light-proof, especially when stretched. You may want to consider something more light-proof for the shroud, or it'll only do part of the job.

I got a 10" earlier in the year from Dennis, one thing I do like is the fact he,s gone to a blackened tube instead of the natural aluminum ones, are they painted or anodized? DA.

My understanding is they are "powder coated".
They are an option on his pricing page quoting:
"Powder coat strut or truss tubes, add $199."

Congrats on your new dobstuff dob! Dennis does excellent work. I opted not to have my 14 inch Zambuto glued to the mirror cell and I haven't had any problems with shifting etc.
