It will be strictly remote operated. Is there a software package that will allow me to control focusers, cameras, and mount? If there is no single package what would be the best approach to take? They are both nice auto control programs that make use of other software packages. They make auto control easy. Wondering how the focusing programs would handle that. You might be able to control the focuser remotely but I dont know of an automated routine for solar. You have 15fps at least downloading so I believe you should be able to get a good focus. We shall see as they say...... As Jeff pointed out most focus programs are looking for the Full Width Half Maximum of star not a large object like the sun. It might be possible to get a focus program to converge on a Sun spot but I would not count on it.
