The wind chill was about -15F here but it was nice and clear. I could just fit the moon and Jupiter in my 30mm eyepiece and the view was amazing. This picture doesn't do the view justice but it was the best I could do with the equipment I have.

Great collection of images, everyone! I did a three-sketch sequence of the pair using a 102mm refractor with a 38mm WA eyepiece. The sketches were done almost 1.5 hrs apart.
If you'd like to see the short report and all three of the sketches, you can find it here.
Below is the last eyepiece sketch at the shortest separation of 0.67 degree.

I saw the pair right next to each other just outside my apartment a short time after sunset, so it wasn't wholly dark. It took a bit of neckstrain with the binoculars as the pair was almost directly overhead and about to go behind the awning. Then I had to tend something on the stove and was going to go downstairs after dinner for another look, but actually forgot!

Daytime Jupiter and Moon, Canon T2i, 18-50mm kit lens, about 10-degrees F. Never seen a daytime planet before, not much to look at but weird.

Took me a while to get it done.
This is a mosaic of three shots taken under the following conditions:
Location: Houston (Jersey Village Area)
Date: Jan 21st, 2013
Time: 23:09 PM CST
Camera: T2I Rebel
Scope: LX-10 direct focus (no focal reducer)
Exposure: 1/60th (3 shots non stack, just mosaic)
The second one is a direct photo. Details can be found in the metatada.
And this is an image of Jupiter a couple hours before conjuction.
