In an image I recently took with my Orion ED80 I noticed two diffraction like spike things on Ori - HIP 262141 (the really bright star on the right of the image). Is this normal or is there something in my optical train that could be causing this? I don't really mind it, I think it adds to the image, just curious why its there.

I've seen worse, I had to look pretty hard to see it. It's possible something very small is protruding into the light path... but it's not much. I get one or two stars every once in a while with my AT65EDQ that do that.
