Guider for Servocat+ArgoNavis combo? new
      #5634232 - 01/21/13 12:43 AM

Hi,

I'm just thinking out aloud here... but would it be possible to setup a OAG or Guidescope on my 14.5" SDM newt fitted with Servocat+Argo? If anyone has done this i'd love to know how you set things up and your results.

I'd like to do this as more of an experiment and see how much longer I can increase my exposure to when imaging at prime focus. I have a ASI120MM cam which I hear makes for a great autoguider.

Would love to hear your thoughts and lessons learnt.

Thanks

I didn't know that system had an autoguider port, but it does?! I googled around and found this reference, so it's a contact the manufacturer scenario if no-one posts in on it. aslo wonder have you asked on the servocat yahoo group?

Sorry I'm not much help

.
