Very lovely work, Michel. J'adore!
The second sketch of the B&W solar disk with red prominences is outstanding and very well thought!

Michel.
I sketched the sun today with my 3" solar scope because I was out of town but brought the small one. Here in Montreal the weather was not supposed to be good but nicer where I was going. And effectively, the sky cleared.
This new group of sunspots is very nice and active. I like it. You represented it very well. But I think you missed a new sunspot at the other edge coming in like on this image... I captured the small one, not the bigger one on the edge still not visible in early afternoon. Maybe at the moment you sketched it was smaller and not visible in your scope ? Or maybe the seeing was not good enough to see it ? I almost missed it myself. I found it after a double check.

I André, thanks for your message and interest. My white colour part of my sketch was done at 10:20 UT. Have a look at, let stay 8 oclock on my sketch, you will see this very little spot, very close to the sun edge. That was difficult to detect because of the edge contrast. Do you see the spot on my sketch ? Is that the spot you are talking about ? Michel

Super creative work, Michel! Everything is drawn so well. Additionally, the idea of doing the time lapse is superb. And what an idea to superimpose the white light over the H-Alpha! A remarkable set, my friend.

I agree with the others, your WL and Halpha on the same disk is your new and unique signature. Keep up this way, it's a very good representation. We all love it.
Very nice animation... Superb work my friend.

Absolutely wonderful, Michel! Indeed, the two combined create a beautiful effect. It's also very interesting to see the development of the solar flare over time. And I liked your animation a lot! You're a star!

Michel.
I watched again your video and that would be a very good way for me to show all the sequence how I make a sketch. But very sincerly, I have absolutely no idea how you do a such sequence. It's so well done.
