I received my 12mm Paradigm from astronomics a few days ago but I haven't got to try it because of the lousy Oregon weather. I am glad to be hearing so many good things about it though.

Has anybody compared these to Sterling plossls? I know the AFOV of Sterlings is a tad less at 55* but what are the other differences? I have a set of Sterlings but I wanted a better planetary eyepiece and a lot of people liked the Paradigms for planetary views.

That is one nice collection there Steve. I am thinking down the line of getting at least one more.
Since I had a few bucks left on a prepaid card, and I liked the review that also had the Celestron Omni 15mm, I went ahead and used the remaining few dollars got that from Adorama. Can't beat the price with free shipping.
Now I just need clear skies.

Weather finally allowed me to try out my new 12mm Paradigm EP and I must say I am very impressed. Using my 8" F/6 Z8 Dob I compared the 12mm Paradigm to my 12.5mm Sterling plossl and I much preferred the Paradigm. I looked at the crescent moon, Jupiter, and the Orion nebula. The Paradigm only has 5* more AFOV but it seems like more.It made a big difference especially on the moon. The Paradigm was also sharper to the edge than the Sterling. The sterling is still a good eyepiece but I can totally see me reaching past it and grabbing the Paradigm when I need a 12mm EP.

Yeah I too was really impressed by this EP. Kind of clear tonight but very cold and I have to be up early, so no playing with the scope and ED's tonight.
