I used stainlesss steel tripod legs from an old celestrom nexstar mount as the poles becasue they can be extended and retracted for easy transportation and storage!!! Also i have 3 spots marked on the poles for different focal length mirros!!! it can be adjusted to fit anywhere from an 8" f4 to an 8" f6!! i have only tried the f4 anf f6 and it worked!! although you have to switch out the secondary mirror for each focal length it is a pretty cool little scope!! I am still in the works on the mirror cell and rocker box and i am having trouble aligning the poles so they slide easier but it is coming along good!! As you notice in the one pic the top of the mirror box comes off with the entire ota for easy set up and tear down!! i really like this feature!!
