Astronomics has the 5-9mm in stock right now for $40 each while supplies last. I have the 6mm and 9mm and just ordered the 5mm. Hard to beat for the price!

Depends on your scope. If you only have the SCT in your signature I would recommend the 9mm. It plays well with my cats for high power use. I need to also get the 7mm and 8mm for those really good nights and to complete my set!

I was considering the 8mm, as that would place me right in between my 12mm and 20mm barlowed to 6 and 10, and also give me 4 itself. Definitely the best choice for my magnification purposes, just wondering if there are any from the series that really stand out...glad to hear the 9 works well in your Cat, I'd assume the 8 will play nicely as well.

Any opinions on how the 5mm would perform in a f/5.5 scope? I'm looking for a high power ep for my TMB92SS.

Came here to post about the TMB Planetary II's for $40. Seems like a great deal. Can anyone provide any insight on which one or two I should pick up for an XT10i? Currently have ES 82 6.7, 11, 24, and RKE 28.
I'm thinking a 5mm and 9mm. Thoughts with regard to my scope?

Any of them should work great with that scope. I just bought the 5mm for my XT10i and my AT65EDQ. The 6mm and 9mm have worked great in these scopes for me.

Sweet, thanks for input. I think I've seen quite a few people recommend the 9mm. The 5mm and 9mm fit into my "set" very well. Barring any objections from anyone else, I'll be pulling the trigger tonight!

I can't believe I'm saying this....for now, I'm ok on eyepieces (between what I have and whats on backorder). This is a good deal on these eyepieces though. If I were in the market for planetaries....I'd be all over this.

I just happened to have ordered all 4 sizes just this morning. The free shipping was a real bonus! I like the idea of supporting a company that supports us, so thanks Astronoimics ---- Dave
