So I packed up all my gear and drove to my favorite spot overlooking the Pacific. Trouble was I forgot my laser collimator! Seeing was not as good as I had hoped for but there were many dome areas to be seen along the terminator. Your pictures compensate for the fact that I have not been able to go out to take advantage of the high Moon, recently, because it is so cold here. One of the best images to come through here. There are so many secondary features imaged do well and even seemingly anonymous but each its own due attention to definition . The glooded crater in the upper left hand corner is so refined and well shown. Truly excellent work. Rob thanks for posting the wider field shot to give an idea of the Kies area.
