Rolling Case for ETX-125PE
      #5646490 - 01/27/13 05:24 PM

Unfortunately, I need to purchase a case that has rollers. I've read about the Pelican case numbers 1610, 1620 and 1650. I hope someone can provide me some information and possibly a picture of their scope in a case.

Thanks, in advance.

Those are big, heavy cases and are likely overkill for what you need. However they will work fine.

A modern, ultra-light suitcase with hand-cut foam inside might work just as well and be considerably-lighter.

I agree with Chris. I use a rolling case designed for computers. I put foam on the inside. The case is airline compatible and has a hardened outer cover that converts into a observing table. Small and handy. It also has a large computer pocket and accessory pockets. I don't know if this one is still available, but many like it ae available.

Should cost be a consideration - stop by your local Walmart.

They stock a hard shell, carbon fiber-looking, Jeep-branded carry-on roller-luggage in (two) sizes - sized to possibly fit both the 90 and 125.

Remove their crummy logo - add some die-cut foam - and save yourself some big bucks...
