ETX Overhaul
      #5646942 - 01/27/13 09:02 PM

I have a 15 year old Meade ETX 90mm. Who could I send it to for at tune-up?

Is it worth doing? I have a lot of accessories for doing astrophotography with my DSLR.

Tony

The Dr.Clay supercharge has always been highly recommended, but the price of the ETX has also dropped considerably: New ETX90
After shipping your looking north of $400.00. You should consider how much scope you can buy for that.

Mine is the OTA only, no Goto or drive of any kind. Just want the optics cleaned and aligned.

No alignment should be necessary, and gentle cleaning of the exterior surface of the corrector with a little blue Windex and Kleenex will put that right.
