Jimmy,
The cable bundle you've shown has 4 connectors. (pigtail only) Only two are used in LN300, the "OSD Control" (AD Key) is used for remote control (blue-white pair).
Clear Skies!

Could you list which resistors you used? I was looking at the photos and I can only make out one or two clearly. I am not familiar enough with them to know automatically.
Also because the pictures are top-down I can't tell if contacts are touching or not.
Thanks!

I painted the wires to show the lower layer (black) and upper layer (red).
Again, Left side is "Bottom" push button.

Resistor color code:

Two suggestions:
DC Power supply per spec is 12V +-15% which is 10.2 to 13.8V.
Electric_Lens is on-CCD long exposure and
AGC is signal gain plus off-chip digital summing from multiple consecutive frames.
These two can go hand-in-hand in very low light situation.
The first method should be used first.
P.S. the factory IR-cut filter (to fit human visual response) is an interference filter which is better than dye-based filter.
Clear Skies!

This got me to thinking instead of building a project box controller, just extend the existing headers with cat5 and use the back panel as the controller point either dropped into a box for more stability or cap the back as is. Simple cheap, and functional.

Sure it will work. Just extend that BLACK-WHITE pair to a bit further for remote control.

This is the finished result, basically(literally) cut the camera in half and spliced in a 25 ft cable. plugged it in and it seems to work. Since i got the MxC I doubt I will use it again, just did this cause i could.

I was thinking of putting in a cat5 jack on the back and wiring everything through it. A little plexi glass for end caps and some silicone to seal it up should work.

Thats exactly what I will do as soon as hit an electronics store up...I just made it work with what I had on hand. I also used plexi glass for the back plates(It does not show to well in those pictures)

Cheers,
Alistair G.
The larger camera (your first link) is LN-320-11673 .
The smaller camera (your second link) is LN-300-11673 .
They are the same exact camera inside .
The dfference between them consists in the user interface on the back board and in size.
The LN320 is housed in a much larger enclosure . The LN300 is as small as it gets.
Functionality is identical, with the exception of the LN320 having a RS485 interface and stripped wire terminal block for power and RS485, while the smaller LN300 uses a 2.1mm jack for power and has NO RS485 .
A couple of side notes:
- both cameras come with the icx810/811 CCD sensor instead of the icx672/673 suggested by their name . The specification is sketchy and doesn't mention this .
-both vendors from your links are reliable , choose whichever lists the free shipping or lowest price.
You will get the same product and same delivery times from both . BTW, both vendors carry both cameras .
You can opt to have the camera shipped without the IR-cut filter installed, in which case it will take a little longer because it would be non-stock ,made to order.
How do I know the above ? I bought from both vendors and I bought both camera types.
