80-90mm APO with Built-In Flattener? new
      #5647797 - 01/28/13 10:55 AM

I'm looking for APO's in the 80-90mm range that do not require an add-on flattener for use with a APS sized chip. I think these would be quad scopes, if I'm not mistaken.

Thanks,

Patrick

William Optics has their GT 81 which has a built in FF I think it is actually a 5 element. Optcorp has them for around 1200 but for a little more say around 1600 if you are patient a Televue 101 can be had used. I had one and it is a great scope for the money.

If you want the best in this category look at the Takahashi's BabyQ FSQ-85.

best regards
Chris

That looks like a pretty nice scope! Much more than my budget, but wow!
