Hi.
Good news guys. Still under bad weather here in Montreal for a couple more days. But a bit farther east, the sun was there for 2 hours according to the forecast. So I left the house at 6:40am and drove 80 miles (130 km) east to catch the sun. I got it fortunately. Therefore, there was a very thin cloud layer probably masking the very faint proms ?
I'm really proud I got this one during this bad weather week.

I call that dedication, my friend! One of the best sketch you have made and this with your smaller scope and a thin cloud cover.

Ehehe.
Thank you Michel and a warm thank you Jean. It's what vacation for.
You're right Jean, I used my very portable C80mm solar scope. This scope is instalation ready within one minute. It's what I like. And for the full disk sketch, there is no difference with the bigger one except less light gathering and no closeup possible. 85x is about the highest magnification I can go with this one.
