Spending this cloudy night looking back through some old SER's. I found this set from last December that looked better than most. Seeing was 3.5/5. Reprocessed with AS!2 + WJ rgb derotation + RS6 wavelets + a little unsharp mask and selective gaussian blur.
How do people keep track of what they've done, what worked, etc? I keep my processed images in folders by date, with a notes file if I feel energetic. I'm terribly inconsistent though. SER's get trashed when I run out of space. I refer back to my FC session log a lot, but I just overwrote it last night with a new install. Doh!

Good work Alan!
Sounds like you have a method started to keep track of what works. You can also add abbreviated processing hints to your filenames. Trouble is the filenames can get fairly long! One thing you cannot afford to do is edit out date and time info in the filename - I learned that the hard way. You might also invest in a large external USB3 drive.

Alan, excellent images! Detail looks great on all channels. I also have the same filter set but skip the L. It's nice to finish the Jupiter season with your best image. Thanks for posting
Regards, Steve
