This came in the mail a couple of weeks ago. Love these little scopes. Kind of nice. Complete scope in a box with decent optics.

Had it out one night and was impressed with the 50mm optics. Good views of the moon and even could see banding on jupiter.

What I really like is that the finder is on a swivel mount and can be used on either side of the scope.

Johann, what a cool little scope. Totally complete and looking brand new. That is mint! What a fun little grab and go. I didn't realize that they also made a 50mm, I was only familiar with their #740 as a sub-60mm offering. 700mm is a nice focal length. My Mayflower 60mm has that focal length and it gives a great view of Jupiter with. 5mm eyepiece. I was able to see at least three of the smoke clouds that Shoemaker-Levy left on Jup' back in 94.
People so underestimate the ability of small scopes with really good optics.

That's a great scope. It's the sharpest small refractor I've ever used. It excels at lunar and solar views (with either Baader film or a Herschel wedge). The plages and filaments really pop out. The double stars are also terrific - I routinely split Rigel with my #105. It's my most used scope and it sets up in about 5 seconds. I wish they would have left the same flipping viewfinder on the newer 105's - that's a handy feature. A 2" f/14 scope doesn't know the meaning of CA.
