I had decided not to get this mount. I wanted something that I could carry with my biggest scope a C-9.25 on it and the LX80 was too heavy. Now with a Teeter STS 11" F/5 newt on order carrying my biggest scope on a mount is out of the question. I need something heavy duty enough to handle the 35 lb OTA. It would be used in alt az mode. David

The nice thing about the STS is you can take the OTA off of the Dob mount. At some point I'd like to have a tracking and goto mount to use with it and my other OTAs. David
