Nice shot, I hope you post more. I have started trying to figure out what to do imaging wise. So many choices DSLR, CCD, etc.

Very nice first go. When you reach the final product in Regi 6, try hitting "RGB Balance" under the functions area on the right hand side of the screen. For a rough go at getting rid of the green tinge, hit "Auto Balance" and then "Do All."

You'll have a Jupiter with a more natural looking color balance.

Good shot. A little more processing and you can get it looking like this......

I lowered the green channel and increased the red and blue in Photoshop. You can do it in other less expensive programs such as Corel PaintShopPro. I tried to sharpen it as well but there is to much blurr...alignment? stacking?
Also take heed to what AdamH says about Registax.

There is a book published by Springer called Deep-Sky Video Astronomy by Steve Massey & Steve Quirk ISBN 978-0-387-87611-5. Although it's main topic is about video astronomy, there are a few excellent chapters on astro imaging processing in Photoshop. I highly recommend it. There are also some good Photoshop tutorials on You Tube and some include astro processing as well.
