t.r. - Yes, I am comfortable carrying the mount and tripod together out the door or loading them into my car. I haven't had them seperated since I received the mount. The mount and tripod together weigh 26.5 lbs., the mount with the QBS and counterweights attached is 15.5 lbs of that.

I actually meant with the scope attached as well, just out the door for observing in grab and go style.

Not with my 900 mm FL EON, that is certainly not grab and go. 
However, I have picked the up the scope/mount combination and moved it a few yards or so to get a tree out of the way of what I wanted to look at and didn't have any problems. I do think with my AT72ED I could carry the combination out the door to my back yard or driveway, but I haven't tried that scope on the mount yet. I'm more interested in the views through the EON right now.
