I was watching a tv show called "terra Nova", set 5Million yrs ago. They occasionally have a shot with the moon showing. I was wondering how much closer it was back then, and how much shorter the cycles were. On a side note, how much shorter was the day/night cycle here back then? Where could I find an article or two on these topics, and, perhaps the math to figure it out?

I miss Terra Nova. It was ended before you found out how the part of the ship go back into the past.
