Pages: 1 s3raphim newbie Reged: 02/28/11 Calculating aFOV in Stellarium       #5658135 - 02/02/13 01:17 PM Edit   Reply   Quote Quick Reply   Hello, I am a few months in to learning the basics of astrophotography, primarily by choosing and shooting targets in the iTelescope.net system. I am using Stellarium as well, and am wanting to set up the Stellarium occular plugin so it represents the basics (doesn't have to be exact) of the aFOV of the various iTelescope scopes. However I'm not sure how to do this. For example, the T16 telescope says that the eyepiece FOV is 75.4 x 113.1 arc-mins, and the focal length is 1095mm. How do I translate that to aFOV so I can enter it into the Stellarium occular configuration? Any help appreciated. Thx.
