Here is my first image with the new Atlas mount.
I'm going to try adding RGB tommarow night. Clouds rolled in tonight.

A nice image. Though I think you can pull a bit more from the image. Mybe try to increase the contrast for the dimmer parts of the image a bit.

Hi Graham, looks like the new mount and guider is working good. Wouter is right, there's more detail in there, but when I stretched it up a bit there's a bright gradient along the left edge and top. Did you do flats? It might just be sensitivity patterns in the chip that flats should correct. I've seen something like it in almost every camera I've used.
Like in this flat from my 314L

Wow thanks fellas! Even got a from a mod. Hey Mike & Chris, it's been a while; glad to see you both here again. Wouter, I did stretch it a bit this morning when I got in and saw the extras in there, but I tried to keep an even smoothness across the image. I didn't use any flats but added three old bias frames from long ago. Mike, I believe that bright side maybe a mix of my neighbor's back-porch C.F. and I need to do flats; maybe darks too.
The light is literately 20' away. (Side project, buy OSB and nail up on fence).
I thought it looked nice even though the seeing was throwing my guiding off every so often. I'm trying to figure out how automating my imaging sequences would work, or if it's even worth it.

Just wanted to another 'well done!' to the above  Getting stars that round with the new mount and getting the HH 'center chip' deserves an 'attaboy' at the minimum.

Added some RGB lastnight. Had to rotate and cut a large piece of fov. Thank you folks. Processed in CS5 and Fitsworks 4.
