I have had my CGE Pro mount outside since Summer, due to back and knee issues. I am not planning to bring it in at all. I am hopping to get to it this spring. It is covered well in telagizmo 365. I am wondering if I need to prep it with gear lube or any other preliminary work or just power up and get to using it? Perhaps a silly question but it doesn't hurt to ask.

You can't really lube anything without taking the mount apart. It is not likely that you will have a problem when you start it up though. I would just turn it on and without going through any alignment, try slewing the axes (it will slew at maximum speed automatically). Just listen to the mount and it will tell you if there is a problem. If an axis refuses to move, then do not continue to press the direction button as that could result in burnt out components.
