I'm one of those that need to use eyeglasses and don't find the Panoptic 24 usable due to the reduced eye-relief. I'm hoping that one day there will be a Delos 22 using all field stop possible for 1.25" format but meanwhile I found a solution that might interest those using 1.7x or higher correctors. On my daylight bino combo http://www.pt-ducks.com/cr-telescopes.htm#CR-binoviewing I use a Nikon FSA-L2 as an erector/zoom http://www.pt-ducks.com/cr-telescopes.htm#Nikon_FSA-L2 that result in a 1.7x factor increase with the Mark V, reducing the TFOV possible to obtain. Having a Delos 17.3mm since a few weeks I tested it with this combo but the resulting magnifications are too high, so too reduced fields for my needs. Remembered to test it using the BS 1.25" 0.5x reducer http://www.bs-astro.com/pt/loja/acessorios/acessorios-opticos/bs-astro/reduto... attached to the eyepiece and the image quality still is good and the TFOV results as using a Delos 22mm that still doesn't exist! The light/contrast is most probably reduced when compared to a Pano 24, it needs 10mm infocus but might be interesting for those that already have a pair of Delos 17.3 - these reducers aren't expensive. Also interesting is that I didn't gain significant FOV when using the reducer on the Meade 5000 26/60 because it vignetted but the larger FOV I obtained was using the reducer with a Nikon HW 12.5mm. Don't know why but, with this ep, the obtained field resulted 14% larger than with the Meade ep and the Delos with reducer, as the Mark V had >30 mm of field stop... By the way the Meade 26/60 should have 27mm fieldstop since is the larger I obtained with a 1.25" ep, similar to the Vixen NLV40mm and a bit larger than the Pano 24. The BS reducer seem a GSO clone.

If you need to use glasses due to astigmatsm, why not use dioptrix instead of glasses? Assuming it is just you using the binoviewers.
