Last time was through inversion, poor to fair seeing. This was significantly better. Neximage 5 camera.

Here is a comp during the same session with varying seeing, gain settings, and planetary rotation. Talk about multivariate analysis!

Thanks, Pete, Ed and Robert. Traveler, I don't recall looking at Plato through the eyepiece, but I did see Jupiter and was impressed by not only the sharpness and contrast, but the brightness of the image.
I am having to adjust to the difference in dimensions and weight...the Mak is more unwieldy than the C8, that's for sure. Adjustments to the mounting procedure are in order.
