Sir William Herschel: His Life and Works [Kindle Edition] by Edward Singleton Holden, copyright 1880 is available on Amazon at no cost. This is an interesting biography of the man and his sister, Caroline. It is a little difficult to read given the grammar and style of that time period but I have enjoyed it so far. The support of the king of England was surprising to me but explained how he and his sister could accomplish so much.

Yes, it is. I've gotten many books there. But then I read A LOT. My wife and I have almost 3000 real books (cataloged) and about 300 e-books. Our family room is actually our library.
