February 4th sun sketch
      #5662387 - 02/04/13 07:57 PM

Hi.

For the first time since I'm sketching, I can honestly give a 5/5 observing condition. Man it was clear. I was able to see so much details on the surface, the granulation was so clear and detailed. That was beautiful. But after a while once I started to do the close up, I lost a bit of stability. The proms were so clear during my full disk sketch.

Andre.

Andre,

Yes, you have captured more detail with the great seeing conditions.
Well done, looks splendid.

Frank

Well... It's difficult to say because every single one of your drawings is special. But yet I think this is the best ever. Perhaps because you had such a clear day? But in any case, the structures you've drawn, the shear amount of detail... it's just incredible!

Peter

Peter

Thank you so much. But just to make things clear, I didn't say it's my best one but my best observing conditions. I was able to see very small details I not necessarly represented in my sketch such as very small darker regions and dots on the surface that I don't see usually. The granulation was so clear.

Andre

Well, I did mean that this is probably your best. But then again I haven't looked at today's yet.

Tom, Peter and Michel.

Thank you friends. Michel. I agree with you, I really love this sketch. The prom looks so nice. Beautiful shape.

Andre.
