That's a fine shot.

My wife called me yesterday evening on her way home from work to tell me about a fantastic sun pillar that was in progress. I went outside immediately with a camera only to see a cloud bank moving in. I drove to a spot with a better view but the Sun was already obscured by then. I drove a few miles to a location with a superior view of the western horizon. I could see the Sun somewhat more clearly on the way but by the time I got to the exit ramp the western sky was completely overcast. When I got home, my wife told me it was the best one she'd ever seen.

Here's a photo of a sun pillar that I took back in 2004.

Here's my best shot of Tuesday's sun pillar. I could see it much better as I was driving to another location.

Here's a Sun Pillar shot I took on a February morning ... from my backyard ... using a simple point-n-shoot camera on fully auto.

Nice photos.....do you live on Mars?????
The sky ,its so .....red.....

Wonder how the old red sky at night vs red sky in the morning would handle these dual photos.?
