Oh, yeah- a Mars impact would be spectacular! I don't know the positions of Sun, Earth, and Mars on that date but the distance, lack of much atmosphere on Mars, the presence of orbiters and rovers, etc. would all make this incredible. Too bad it's unlikely to happen.
