Anyone have recommendations for touch-screen friendly winter gloves?
Alternatively, are there any simple methods of making an pair of plain gloves function with touch-screen devices?

I have a pair of "Head" Runner's gloves. They are warm, but thinner with rubberized grips in the palm and fingers. They also have a tip on the index finger of the gloves that will operate a smartphone/tablet.

There a lot of gloves this will do this now. There is a technique for using conductive thread and there is this which is a liquid that can be applied yo any glove. Don't know how well it works since I've not used it.

Hey, maybe my wife could use this on her fingers. Don't know why, mystery of the universe, but my wife practically has to push her finger thru the screen before it will respond (doesn't matter if its her smart phone or her tablet). It's not the equipment, as I just barely touch it and it works. Maybe some of us just have more conductivity in our bodies or something.....

Those fancy fingernails can get in the way of proper function .

Nope, she doesn't have long nails. She's more a pretty down to earth type, and when her health allowed it, would be right there along side you helping. It's just plain weird.

I use what's called shooters mittens. Just google it. I keep just the tip of my index finger and thumb out. The rest of my fingers are in the mitten nice and toasty...

Didn't realize BestBuy carried them - I'll check them out. I see they have a pair that's under $10.
Thanks for the suggestions.
