Thanks to David Fuller for his tips and vids, I've been doing a bit of observing... just prior to the last full moon I decided to try to taks a few photos. I used a samsung s860pocket digital camera ' handheld over the eye piece ' Yes it was hand held. I took a few different shots playing with the aperture and exposure times. and thought these where the best.... I know they are quite bad but I just wanted to share what I had done... as its all new to me... First pics are always special. Considering it's hand held it's a pretty good pic. Just enough to get you hooked, if you don't watch out. First thing to do is get an inexpensive bracket to hold the camera.
