Looking for an electric auto focused for my EON 80mm. Not really sure if that's possible or not. I have some software that allows auto focusing and not sure where to start?

Get ahold of Rigel Systems: http://rigel.datacorner.com/rigelsys/videos.html
He makes adapter plates for most of the scopes out there and if he doesn't already have one he'll ask you for dimensions and create a plate for you. The DC one works 'good enough' though I have trouble getting it to consistently 'auto focus' using Focus Max. Most likely user error. I think it's 179 for a hand controller, a motor/bracket for your particular scope, and the USB dongle.

Yep, believe I've already done that focuser. Send a better photo of the focuser and I'll id it.

Since your scope is an Orion you might also might look at the Orion autofocusers paired with a FCUSB cable.

This is the combination that I use and it works pretty well.

What was the verdict? Was a off the self unit from Rigel available for the EON?
